'Sorum' - 2024 Project In Progress
'Sorum' started life as, 'The Gift' - a play with music specially written for an Arts Summer School. Several years later I revised and renamed the work and it had a second staging. 'Sorum' is a fantasy with narrative carried by fairies ... well, not the fairies you think you know but fairies as they really are. Behind its charm lies an unpredictable and malevolent edge ... disturbing ... dramatic ... political. I am currently re-working this into a full-length musical, developing the score and re-shaping. This is very exciting!
